Beijing DB11/T 2382-2024 consumption standard: quota-application method for water-tank (assembled / integral) installation - capacity banding, measurement per unit, and the treatment of accessories and peripheral works

Core Conclusions

1. General measurement rule (Clause 6.10.88) "Water-tank installation quantities shall be classified by total tank capacity and calculated by the numbers shown on the design" - sub-items are selected by total-capacity band, measured per "unit", quantities per the design drawings.

2. Assembled-tank installation (Table C.10.72-2) Applies to tanks assembled from panels on site, banded by total capacity, unit "unit". Sample sub-item C10-8-106 (total capacity within 180 m3):

• Work content: "handling within the site, unpacking and inspection, panel assembly, water testing" - the (full-water) test is included in the sub-item and must not be charged separately;
• Consumption composition: comprehensive labor Category II 36.8540 work-days; machinery includes 5 t truck 0.4500 shifts, electric winch 3.8000 shifts, hoisting machinery 3.4500 shifts, other tools 3%.

3. Integral-tank installation (Table C.10.72-1) Applies to the installation of factory-finished tanks delivered to site, likewise banded by capacity. Sample sub-item C10-8-91 (total capacity within 15 m3):

• Work content: "handling within the site, stabilizing, leveling and aligning, installation, spacing adjustment, fitting-up of parts, full-water test";
• Consumption composition: comprehensive labor Category II 5.3490 work-days; materials include PTFE tape 1.4200 m, steel shims 7.8640 kg etc.; machinery includes 5 t truck 0.0900 shifts, electric winch 2.3600 shifts etc.
• Selection criterion: on-site panel assembly -> assembled type (C.10.72-2); finished whole tank delivered and installed -> integral type (C.10.72-1); the two must not be interchanged.

4. Accessories and body pricing Accessories supplied complete with the tank (manhole, internal/external ladders, body connection nozzles, level-gauge connections etc.) are not itemized separately and no extra quota is applied - their positioning, welding/assembly on site is included in the "panel assembly" (assembled type) or "fitting-up of parts" (integral type) work content; the sub-item consumptions contain only labor, auxiliary materials and machinery. The tank body (with its accompanying accessories) enters the estimate as an unpriced main material/equipment at market price.

5. Peripheral works directed by the chapter notes to other items/volumes (Clauses 6.10.82 to 6.10.84)

• "Fabrication and installation of steel-section supports of heating and water-supply/drainage equipment shall be executed under Clause 6.10.41 of this standard" - and Clause 6.10.41 provides: "equipment-support fabrication and installation quantities shall be classified by the weight of each support group and calculated by the design mass" (measured in kg);
• "The various control cabinets (panels), electrical wiring and electrical commissioning supplied with the equipment shall be executed under the corresponding items of electrical equipment installation works";
• "Vibration-isolation devices of heating and water-supply/drainage equipment shall be executed under the corresponding items of machinery equipment installation works";
• The pipes of each system connected to the tank and the valves are calculated under the corresponding pipe/valve sub-items.

Applicable Boundaries

• The basis here is the Beijing DB11/T 2382-2024 (2024 edition); other regions' or older quotas have a similar structure (separate assembled/integral tables, capacity banding, measurement per unit) but different sub-item numbers and consumptions - not directly transferable.
• Band selection is by nearest band not exceeded by the total capacity; quantities per the design unit count; accessory devices installed as separate items (self-cleaning devices, level gauges etc.) form their own items under their dedicated sub-items.
• This card retains only two sample sub-items (C10-8-106, C10-8-91) and the chapter calculation rules; the complete capacity-band lists and consumption values follow the original tables of Appendix C of the standard.
