Beijing DB11/T 2382-2024 consumption standard: pipe supports must be computed separately with dedicated items (C10-4-1/C10-4-2 per 100kg, factory-made seismic braces per pair, factory pipe clamps per piece, industrial pipe racks C8-14-1)

When compiling construction consumption (budgets, bid ceilings, etc.) under Beijing DB11/T 2382-2024: whether pipe supports need separate computation, which items apply, and the coefficients and separately priced materials — for water/sewer/heating/gas works (Section 6.10) and industrial piping calibers.

Core Conclusions

Pipe supports must be computed and priced with dedicated support items; they are not by default included in pipe installation items. Per DB11/T 2382-2024:

1. General pipe racks (Table C.10.23-1 pipe support fabrication): C10-4-1 "fabrication, general rack", C10-4-2 "installation, general rack", both per 100kg, applied per computed support mass.

• C10-4-1 work: in-plant hauling, lofting, cutting, straightening, hot-bending, drilling, beveling, welding, fabrication; 105.0000 kg shaped steel per 100kg; labor (class II) 4.27 workdays/100kg.
• C10-4-2 work: measuring, positioning, setting expansion anchors, assembling, fixing the rack; labor 2.646 workdays/100kg.
• Wood-cushion and spring racks use the corresponding fabrication/installation items; anti-corrosion wood cushions and spring dampers are separately priced materials.
• Outdoor pipes on above-ground shaped-steel supports use the corresponding items of Annex C.3 static equipment and process metal structures.

2. Factory seismic braces (Table C.10.23-3): single-pipe transverse braces C10-4-3/C10-4-4 per "pair"; work: measuring, positioning, cutting, assembling, planting (embedding) bolts, installing, correcting, fixing; installation splits single-pipe transverse and portal transverse; side-longitudinal braces use the corresponding transverse items with labor x 1.05; the main material "seismic brace (incl. anchors)" includes anchors and undercut anchors.

3. Factory pipe clamps: C10-4-5 (DN <= 15mm) per "piece"; for all factory clamps and cradle seats; work: measuring, positioning, drilling, fixing clamps, sealing holes.

4. Industrial pipe racks (Table C.8.83, C8-14-1 general rack, 100kg): except wood-cushion and spring racks, all rack types use the general-rack item; wood-cushion racks already cover factory and self-made cushions; spring racks exclude spring dampers (materials priced separately); special-shaped racks welded from formed steel pipes take the general-rack item x 1.3; stainless racks x 1.1.

5. Section pointers (Section 6.10): outdoor pipes — "pipe support installation per 6.11.35-6.11.38" (6.10.20); indoor pipes — "indoor pipe support installation per 6.10.39-6.10.42" (6.10.29).

Applicable Boundaries

• Applies to Beijing projects using DB11/T 2382-2024 for water/sewer/heating/gas and industrial piping; other regions follow local standards.
• This is an item-application rule running parallel to BOQ itemization: ordinary pipe supports are already in the pipe installation BOQ work content (GB/T 50856-2024, 3.0.10) and normally not itemized separately — apply the fabrication/installation items separately in pricing, avoid double counting.
• Seismic braces are factory items (materials incl. anchors and undercut anchors), quantities per the seismic layout drawings; wood cushions and spring dampers priced separately.
• Item setup, consumptions, and coefficients per the current DB11/T 2382-2024 text.
